Introducing to you GD’ers, Annika Allen.
Allen is co-owner of an amazing company called The Colour Network, which is a black entertainment digital platform housing short films, web series, interviews & music from the UK. Their plan is to promote as many actors, film makers, writers, musicians, producers and directors as possible, while helping them build their brands in the process. The future is in colour, and they urge you to be a part of it.
So how exactly is the future in colour you ask?
Well, by accepting and acknowledging that the differences in a diverse pot of people; inspires evolution and elevation. So many good ideas and works are made great when viewed and revisited from a different perspective. What a joy it is, to add colour to a monotone society of pre conceived notions, outdated stereotypes and grey areas of ignorance.
I urge you all to find your inner colour, find your brightness and never dim it to fit in with the canvas; be the pop of colour amongst the bland. Explore what excites you and invigorates your soul, you may have more than one thing .. Try them all. Life is too short and far to bright to stay safe being a neutral ‘colour’. Live your best colourful life and inspire the younger generations to see beyond black and white. With any hopes, they’ll realise how much the world is progressing now; for now we seem to acknowledge gradient and depth within the art that is living your best life. It is such a fulfilling thing to have your life transform day by day into a masterpiece of depth, texture and light. There is no limit, no guideline and no right way; for you are the creator of your world .. paint it with positivity!
Until next time be good to yourselves, kind to others and above all GROW DAILY.
