#WCW – Meghan Markle

Our WCW exudes a regal like class, whilst remaining ever grounded and philanthropic. Since the age of 7 our WCW has been an advocate for gender equality and female empowerment, in fact; her passion for the matter has seen her work with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women in recent years. Our WCW is also an accomplished actress best known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits. Yes, our WCW today is Meghan Markle.

Now this is a name I’m sure most will be familiar with, as stories and interviews have plastered the media recently. The news of course being Markles recent engagement to Prince Harry. Now, there are conversational debates on the matter with Markles mixed race being at forefront of most stances. However we at Grow Daily see beyond that, though we acknowledge that Markle will be the first acknowledged addition of melanin in the Royal Family; what is more compelling is the character of the woman whom Prince Harry has fallen in love with. You see, the mere fact that this announcement is setting / promoting new standards and norms; is in total alignment to Markles stance on the more prominent race … the Human Race. At age 11, her successful campaign to get a company to change a national television commercial she viewed as sexist was also front page news, so she is no stranger to foraging new norms which simply intend to shift the stereotypes of a women’s capabilities. Thus the leading topic/question in these conversations, should be what is the character of Markle; because she is most certainly a fulfilled whole, whom will join Prince Harry in the marriage of two exceptional whole persons in one union rather than two mediocre halves attempting to be fulfilled by the others half.

So, let’s look at Markles character and gain better understanding as to why Prince Harry is quite rightly completely besotted.

Firstly, Markle lives by the mantra ‘you are enough’ following the advice given to her in her early 20’s by renowned casting director April Webster. Prior to that turning point, Markle notes trying to find her value in an industry that judges you on everything that you’re not versus everything that you are. Therefore I thoroughly believe the comments on her mixed race will not bother this strong, confident woman in this happy time of engagement. Moreover, I myself completely understand her initial plight trying to find where you belong; but I think the lessening of such angst is embedded within Markles approach to filling out forms requiring an ethnic background. Markles answer on said forms is always, “Sorry world, this is not Lost and I am not one of the others. I am enough exactly as I am”. GD’ers always remember that the hue of your skin should not limit your self worth or potential, go out knowing you are enough with the intent to be the best version of you each day.

There are numerous documentaries and interviews to come, which we hope will provide the general public with a better understanding, that although she is marrying a Prince; this woman’s beautiful, sensational and enigmatic persona can only be highlighted by her new found royalty for she has always been ‘rich’ in spirit and soul. Truly an American Princess. We cannot wait for the story to unfold.

Here’s wishing Meghan Markle, a happy engagement and many more experiences and adventures with her Prince Charming.

Until next time be good to yourselves, kind to others and above all GROW DAILY.
